A train company has apologised after a glitch showed tickets costing £10,000 for a single journey from London Bridge to Gatwick.
The £10,000 ticket for the short Southern Rail service was spotted by customer Lucy Watson on Wednesday morning.
The same journey via a Thameslink train showed up at only £11, however.
“Might go for Thameslink then, cheers,” wrote Ms Watson as she posted a picture showing the fare offerings on social media.

A spokesperson from Govia Thameslink, which runs the two services, apologised for the inconvenience caused by the £10,000 ticket error and said it was fixed quickly.
The spokesperson said: “This was a temporary technical glitch affecting ticket machines at Gatwick and London Bridge only and our suppliers removed the rogue fare shortly after it appeared.
“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
The rogue fare was spotted on the day after it was announced rail fares across the country were being increased by 3.1%, sparking outrage among commuters.
