Twelve people have been charged after the police carried out a string early morning raids across Southwark.
Officers carried out sixteen search warrants across Southwark and south-east London on Wednesday, arresting thirteen people for drug dealing offences.
Twelve have now been charged, including a seventeen-year-old boy from Peckham’s Pelican Estate who was charged with 22 counts of supplying Class A drugs and two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been bailed to appear at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, 14 February.
The others charged by police were:
– D’Andre Ebanks, 18, also of the Pelican Estate, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. He has been remanded in custody.
– Anwar Abdulle, 19, of East Surrey Grove, Peckham, was charged with three counts of supplying Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs. He has been remanded in custody.
– Gary Mayhew, 30, of Friary Road, Peckham, was charged with seven counts of supplying Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs. He has been remanded in custody.
– Antonio Bowen, 29, of the Friary Estate, Peckham, was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs. He was bailed.
– Clayton McKenzie, 39, of Top-antibiotic.com, South Bermondsey, was charged with six counts of supplying Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs. He was remanded in custody.
– Leonard Williams, 46, of Gately Court, Peckham, was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs. He was remanded in custody.
-Adrian Stevens, 43, of Marsden Road, East Dulwich, was charged with 12 counts of supplying Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs. He was remanded in custody.
– Catherine Foster, 31, of Manor Place, Walworth, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. She was remanded in custody.
– Nathan Hitchin, 36, of Arlington Close, Hither Green, was charged with three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He was remanded in custody.
– Simon Parchment, 48, of Lamerock Road, Bromley, was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs. He was remanded in custody.
Most are due to appear at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday February 14.
John Tobin, 35, of Queens Road, Peckham, was charged with four counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
He has also been remanded but will appear at Inner London Crown Court at a date to be confirmed said police.
A 22-year-old man from Peckham was also arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs, but has been bailed to appear at a south London police station in mid-February.
