Two more men have been arrested by officers investigating the murder of eighteen-year-old Amara Toure in Walworth last weekend.
A 20-year-old man from Ilford and a 20-year-old from East Ham were arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday, police confirmed.
A 20-year-old man has already been arrested and charged with murder on Wednesday (July 3) who appeared in Camberwell Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, July 4).
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday (July 8).
Amara died in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in Sutherland Walk in Walworth in the early hours of Sunday, June 30.
A post-mortem held on Tuesday (July 2) recorded his cause of death as ‘incisive wounds to the abdomen and blood loss’.
