A Walworth man has been jailed after committing a series of attempted rapes and sexual assaults over less than two weeks.
Joshua Victorin, 25, was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday (December 16) to a life sentence and will serve a minimum of eight years and eight months in prison.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted rape and four counts of sexual assault in Southwark.
Victorin attempted two rapes on December 23 and December 31 last year, and committed four sexual assaults within a three-hour period on January 4 this year. He was arrested by police officers on January 5.
Police are appealing for anyone else who was attacked by Victorin to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Chloe Angris, said: “Victorin is a prolific offender who assaulted six women over a 12 day period.
“It is possible that there might be other women who were assaulted by him, and I would urge them to contact us.
“The Met is committed to tackling violence against women and girls, and with Victorin’s imprisonment, Southwark is a safer place.”
