What’s on virtually: Elephant and Castle community hub offers crafts, exercise and wellness classes

More than 2,000 tuned in for the latest talk


Elephant and Castle’s Virtual Community Hub is taking on the lockdown blues with fitness activities, wellness classes and arts and crafts online.

Free virtual arts and crafts workshops are being held for 2-10-year-olds every Thursday, with free online mindfulness classes every Monday for adults.

A special event, ‘The White Dress Party’ is being held remotely on Sunday, January 31,  at 7pm, with a quiz and singalong performances from the Community Hub Choir.

Along with Latin Dance, Aerobics Workout classes, Frogprince Baby music live there are also cookery videos and online recipes.

Another must-see are the new Re-Tribe talks, held every Tuesday at 11:00am. Each week a special guest joins, including local heroes and inspirational people, who help people navigate life’s challenges.

More than two thousand viewers tuned in to watch the most recent talk with Olympic, world and European medallist, Kelly Sotherton.
