Police are appealing for a witness to come forward after an unexplained death in Croydon.
On Friday, December 4, a man was found collapsed in Clifford Road, around 11.37pm. He passed away after being taken to hospital.
Police say they believe they have confirmed his identity, but are still working to locate his next of kin and inform them.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Officers are appealing for a witness who reported seeing the man fall in the street to come forward.
The caller told operators he was in a car when he saw the man collapse, but then left the scene.
The witness is not being treated as a suspect but it is believed he could help police with their enquiries.
