THE Football Association have confirmed they are investigating footage that showed Leeds United striker El Hadji Diouf being racially abused at Millwall.
The Lions have reopened an investigation into the incident, saying they are “appalled” by a report shown on Sky Sports News on Monday night.
It has been reported that the Whites have already provided the FA with the Senegal striker’s version of what happened.
In the immediate aftermath of the game, Diouf told club officials he had not heard any abuse and had no complaint to make.
An FA statement said: “We were concerned by the footage and we have requested a copy for our full consideration. We will work with the relevant authorities including the police to investigate fully.”
