Dulwich Hamlet’s play-off chances are hanging by a thread after a tenth consecutive National League South game without a win.
Gavin Rose’s Hamlet lost 2-0 to Chippenham Town last weekend and dropped to eleventh in the table, five points off sixth with two games left.
Three of the four sides above them chasing the last play-off spot have played one game less.
Captain Kieran Parselle scored the hosts’ clinching second after their 30th– minute opener from Joe Hanks.
Dulwich’s last win was on February 26, 1-0 at home to Braintree Town.
Chip when ahead with a counter-attack after the Hamlet had lost the ball high up the pitch, Hanks beating goalkeeper Charlie Grainger from Tom Mehew’s pass.
Chippenham piled on the pressure and had chances to extend their lead before the break.
Rose made two changes at half-time, sending on Gio McGregor and Chike Kandi to replace James Dayton and Danny Mills.
Dulwich didn’t register a shot on target until injury-time, and by then Chippenham were two goals ahead after Hanks had crossed to the far post for Parselle to score in the 90th minute.
The Hamlet finally tested Will Henry a minute later, but he was equal to substitute Ibra Sekajja’s effort.
Dulwich travel to second-place Dorking Wanderers on Monday for a 3pm kick-off.
