Millwall Lionesses fell to their fourth defeat in as many games on Sunday when a solitary goal saw them lose out to Yeovil Ladies.
Natasha Knapman headed in the game’s only goal from Sarah Wiltshire’s cross in front of a crowd of 722 as the Lady Glovers stay third in the Women’s Super League Division Two table.
Meanwhile their latest loss leaves the Lionesses in seventh place in the ten team second tier of the Women’s game. “We got what we deserved,” said Millwall boss Dan Mlinar.
“We were pathetic in the first half and I don’t think that’s too harsh a word.
“We lacked heart, we lacked grit, we lacked determination; it just wasn’t a Millwall performance.”
The Lionesses will hope to get back to winning ways against London Bees, who they took on last night at Beckenham FC. To find out that result, and the latest Lionesses news, visit millwall.fawsl.com.
