Dulwich Hamlet’s youth academy is holding trials throughout May at its Champion Hill Stadium, writes Daniel Sexton…
The trials are for the boys’ U-12 to U-16’s programme and are being held across three Saturdays: May 4th, 11th and 18th. The trials are run by fully qualified FA coaches.

“Our academy has produced a number of talents throughout the past sixteen years who have gone on to have successful playing careers,” a spokesperson said.
“We pride ourselves on our professional programme and ethos that are designed to produce young aspiring footballers into senior football and alternative career paths.”
Some previous Hamlet players include Alan Pardew, who went on to play and manage in England’s top leagues, Erhun Öztumer, a midfielder who left Hamlet to join Peterborough and is now at Bolton, and Ethan Pinnock, who played for Dulwich for six years and left to join Forest Green; he currently plays for Barnsley and has just been named in the PFA League 1 Team of the Season.
