MILLWALL LIONESSES have appointed Chris Phillips ad their new First Team coach.
Phillips is a former Development Team Manager at Arsenal.
The move comes a day after Pedro Martinez Losa was confirmed as Director of Football.
Former Arsenal WFC manager Lartinez Losa told the Lionesses official website: “Chris has shown an incredible dedication and passion for any project that he worked for and was a key part of the development of many young players at Arsenal WFC.
“He will be a great addition to the project and will integrate very well in to the club’s philosophy and plans for the future.”
Phillips added: “I am thrilled to take up the position of First Team Coach of Millwall Lionesses. The directors put forward their new vision of how they wished to move forward and it matched my ambitions perfectly.
“I feel we can put together a young and hungry team that will represent the club’s values well and play entertaining football that spectators will enjoy.
“As a Londoner I would love to see us engage as much as possible with the wonderful fan base that Millwall FC has. It feels we are at the start of something new and special and I can’t wait to take the first session and start working for this fantastic club.”
