Following their takeover of Eltham Palace during the close season last season’s Stansfeld first team now play in Division One of the SCEFL, although they are still called Eltham Palace for the time being.
They were in action last Friday against Sporting Club Thamesmead and they fell to a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Dan Parish and Josh Patrick.
The Stansfeld side, last year’s reserves, who now play in Kent County League Premier Division were not in action on Saturday after their game against Kennington was postponed.
When they did return to action on Monday they fell to a 3-0 defeat with Jordan Downes, Sean O’Sullivan and Craig Martin netting for old rivals Metrogas.
The Stansfeld side in the SCEFL were also in action on Monday but they also lost 3-0, that team losing out to Snodland Town.
